Villa Lithos - breathtaking views from every room in this beautifully minimalist designed architectural villa. Villa Lithos was designed with the idea of combining minimal, modern design with the beautiful nature of southern Crete. An olive tree growing in the middle of the terrace through the roof into the sky, as well as local stones and materials, are used throughout the villa to achieve this.

Each of the three comfortable bedrooms has its own bathroom and a fantastic view of the hills, mountains and the sea including the bay of Plakias. One of the bedrooms, beyond the comfortable double bed, contains a bunk bed for two additional guests (preferably children). The kitchen is fully equipped and made of modern materials. Access and view to the terrace as well as to the pool area is given through large glass doors. Thus, indoor and outdoor areas are combined into a unit where guests can enjoy their vacation to the fullest.

The outdoor area has a private infinity pool (20 sqm), sun loungers and an outdoor kitchen with dining area and just the same impressive view of the coast.
The villa is designed barrier-free!

Location:

Villa Lithos is located about 180 meters outside the traditional village of Mariou and about 1.5 kilometers outside the village of Myrtios, where there are tavernas and also a mini-market. About 2 kilometers away is the coastal village of Plakias, where you can find many taverns, restaurants, cafes and various shopping facilities as well as water sports.
The nearest sandy beach is also about 2 kilometers away.

The village of Plakias was until a few decades ago a small fishing village with about 5 houses. Since the first hippies appeared there at the end of the 60's, the village has grown a lot. Today the village consists of about 100 houses and offers everything a recreation-seeking guest could need. The village is located on the southern coast of Crete, in a wide valley that can be reached through an impressive deep gorge.
A 5-kilometer long sandy beach is located directly in the village. In addition, there are several smaller, beautiful and secluded beaches in the immediate vicinity. Behind the village, the nature begins immediately. Plakias is framed by a landscape of sea and mountains with the mountain villages of Selia, Mirthios and Mariou.
A variety of amenities can be found in the tourist center of Plakias and Damnoni beach.
Discover the beauties of the depths of the Libyan Sea with the help of the local diving schools in Plakias. Excursions to the countryside and beaches are possible by bike or on horseback as well as on a donkey, which can be organized by the local riding school in Plakias. Tennis lovers also get their money's worth and can enjoy their favorite sport. The advantages of the summer winds are very convenient for sailors and surfers.
