This summer villa offers a beautiful view of the sea as well as the bay of Plakias and a remarkable layout.
Consisting of three bedrooms, one of which is in a studio. All bedrooms have their own bathroom/WC. Two of the bedrooms face the sea and offer large sliding doors that bring the sea view inside the villa. In the main villa there is an open plan kitchen with a counter leading to the dining area next to the living room. The kitchen/living area also faces the sea and has large sliding doors that allow you to enjoy the view from every corner. The studio is built to feel like an extra large room, with its own bathroom and relaxation area. The bed faces the sea and the sliding doors lead directly to the dining area in the courtyard.
The outdoor area is divided into four different areas. A sunken area, directly in front of the studio, houses the dining table, big enough for 8 people! Between the studio and the main villa is a shaded chill area with a built-in bench and the entrance to the main villa. The rest of the outdoor area is divided between the infinity pool with two sun loungers on each side and the garden area, accessed via a stone staircase directly under the pool (25 sqm). Villa Chelidoni is ideal for enjoying a pleasant stay with friends and family! The views and amenities of Villa Chelidoni offer a deep relaxation where you can unwind and enjoy nature!
Location:
Villa Chelidoni is located about 170 metres outside the small village of Mariou, where there is also a taverna suburb. The traditional village of Myrthios, where you can find tavernas and a mini market, is about 2 kilometres away. The coastal village of Plakias with its wide flat sandy beach is 4 kilometres away.
The nearest sandy beach is about 3 kilometres from the villa.
Places worth visiting include the imposing gorges of Kourtaliotis and Kotsifou, the historic monastery of Preveli with its interesting architecture and the beautiful beaches of Ammoudi, Schinaria, Damnoni, Plakias, Souda, Limni Preveli with its palm forest beach at the mouth of the Kourtaliotis river and last but not least the traditional villages of Lefkogia, Selia, Mariou, Asomatos, Gianniou, Rodakino and of course Plakias.
Chania airport is 97 km from the villa and Heraklion airport 115 km.

Terms of payment
A deposit of 30% of the total rental cost is due immediately to confirm the booking. Payment of the remaining 70% of the rental cost is due 4 weeks prior to arrival.
Cancellation policy
If a guest cancels up to 8 weeks prior to arrival, no cancellation fees are due. If a booking is cancelled between 4 and 8 weeks prior to arrival, 30% of the total rental cost will be charged as a cancellation fee. If a booking is cancelled less than 4 weeks prior to arrival, 100% of the total rental cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.

wir haben unsere Tage in der Villa genossen. Der Service bei der Buchung und vor Ort war sehr gut. Die Villa sehr schön, der Ausblick genial, der Pool beheizbar, so dass wir jeden Tag schwimmen waren - schon im April. die Gegend wunderschön für viele Ausflüge. wir kommen sicher wieder.

Kalimera! Wir können Bestnote geben für unsere Aufenthalt in dieser super tollen Villa mit einer prächtigen Aussicht! Sauberkeit, Einrichtung, Service - alles 1A und die Betreuung und Informationen durch Stella lassen keine Wünsche offen! Stella gab uns Tipps für Strände und Tavernen in der Region und alle Tipps waren super! Wir würden jederzeit wieder hierhin und können das Haus und den ganzen Service von Buchung bis Haus-Rückgabe einfach nur weiter empfehlen! DANKE und Note 10! Karin & Rolf

Zwei perfekte Wochen
Ein tolles Haus mit allem, was zum Wohlfühlen gebraucht wird. Wirklich sehr gut und auch hochwertig ausgestattet, bequeme Betten, schöne Bäder. Die Terrasse mit Pool ist ein Traum, in dem man sich bei großer Hitze ganz wunderbar abkühlen kann. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass vor uns Anfang Juni 2022 fast noch niemand dort gewesen war. Stella, die vor Ort rund um dieses Haus und die anderen (ebenfalls sehr schönen) Objekte nebenan regelt, war jederzeit verfügbar und sehr nett. Glücklicherweise hat sie uns bei der Ankunft vor Ort empfangen, sonst wäre uns die letzte Abzweigung abwärts dann doch komisch vorgekommen. Die Zufahrt ist für unsere Verhältnisse gewagt, in Griechenland völlig normal. Idealerweise hat man ein nicht allzu großes Fahrzeug mit kräftigem Motor und Allrad. Das empfiehlt sich auch für den Rest der Insel. Aber zuguterletzt hat der uns zugeloste Toyota Corolla auch alles tadellos absolviert. Mariou ist ein kleines Dörfchen mit einem winzigen Notversorger, der drei Gemüsesorten, etwas Brot, Käse und eine Tiefkühlpizza führt. Der Kaffee am Tresen zur Straße ist sensationell. Außerdem hat das Dorf eine sehr gute Taverne, die man vom Haus auch in rund 15-20 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht. Angesichts des Aufstieges und dem am Schluss weniger charmanten Weg an der Landstraße entlang haben wir das nur einmal gemacht – und sonst auf das Auto gesetzt, das hier unbedingt gebraucht wird. In Myrthios, dem nächsten Dorf, gibt es vier ausgezeichnete Tavernen mit einem noch schöneren Blick über die Bucht, als in Mariou. Aber eigentlich haben wir immer und überall auf der Insel ausgezeichnet gegessen. Die Kombination aus Umgebung, Insel, komfortablem Haus, bestem Wetter und dem angenehmen Lüftchen, das nur in Plakias stetig zu wehen scheint, haben wir zwei tolle Wochen verbracht – und würden es jederzeit wieder tun.
Wir kamen als Fremde und gingen als Freunde- wie immer wenn wir egal wo auf Kreta waren!
Villa Chelidoni mit Blick auf die Bucht von Plakias im Oktober 2021. Kurz und knapp- das bis jetzt beste Haus mit dem schönsten Blick auf die Bucht von Plakias und das Meer. Es war alles in guter Qualität vorhanden, die Villa ist wunderschön und ganz neu. Die Lage in dem kleinen Ort Myrthios ist ganz ruhig und die Einwohner des Dorfes grüßen schon nach wenigen Tage wann immer man Ihnen begegnet freundlich. Es hat alles reibungslos geklappt von der spontanen Buchung, über den Schriftverkehr, das Mieten und Abholen des Wagens für unseren Aufenthalt. Die Begrüßung von Stella vor Ort, Ihre Erreichbarkeit und stete Bemühung auch Extrawünsche zu erfüllen. Das Haus wurde regelmäßig gereinigt mit Wäschewechsel. Rundum vergebe ich die volle Punktzahl. Vielen Dank- wir kommen wieder....

Wunderbar
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser Villa. Der Blick ist atemberaubend. Man hört absolut keinen Autoverkehr. Die Aufteilung der Zimmer ist sehr gut. Die Betten sind super und die Bäder geräumig. Jederzeit wieder!!!!
