Rock Sand Beach Villa has direct access to the award-winning and most famous beach in the area of Agios Nikolaos, Almyros Beach. Only 30 meters from your villa you cross the wooden bridge of the small river and meet directly the long sandy beach! The area of Almyros is attractive not only because of the sandy beach, but also because of the natural environment, all around.

The exclusive villa is located only 2 kilometers from the center of the picturesque fishing town of Agios Nikolaos, which in turn is located 70 kilometers east of Heraklion and is one of the four largest towns on the island and the capital of the Lassithi district. The quiet town of Agios Nikolaos is located on the northwest side of the beautiful Mirabello Bay and every summer it develops into a trendy and elegant resort. "Agios", as Agios Nikolaos is called by the locals, is surrounded by green hills covered with olive trees. The village retains the ambiance of a picturesque coastal fishing port, despite its tourist infrastructure.

In the center of the village is Lake Voulismeni, connected to the sea by a channel. It reaches a depth of up to 64m in the middle and is associated with many Greek myths. On two sides it is surrounded by numerous taverns and cafes, from which you can look at the colorful fishing boats bobbing in the calm water. On the other two sides a rocky coast rises steeply, on the top of which a small park with paved paths invites you to walk and take pictures.
