Villa Mantilari Estate is the ideal place for travelers who like to get off the beaten track and experience the Cretan countryside lifestyle. The luxurious private resort is also particularly suitable for weddings. We will be happy to put you in touch with the perfect wedding planner on site.

The unique property, built with integrity to accommodate all the highest quality standards, has been built and equipped with a passion for art, design and agriculture. You will of course be able to enjoy fruits, herbs, wine and olive oil produced on the property itself. You as guests will have the opportunity to taste the local fruits, herbs and vegetables as well as the wine of the Mantilari estate, participate in workshops and courses to relax and experience the Cretan hospitality and way of life.

Wine Estate Mantilari is a 780 sqm villa complex with two separate buildings, an additional guest house and within it 7 en-suite compounds, however, it is rented only to a common tour group to ensure privacy. It is located on 4 hectares of land on a hill with woods, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, apple trees and other Mediterranean trees. There are fully equipped kitchens in most of the rooms. Facilities include two swimming pools, barbecue facilities, a gym, a wine cellar and a children's playground with a swing and seesaw built of wood. Villa Mantilari consists of a total of 7 suites and 2 swimming pools (1.40 m deep; 14.5 m x 5.5 m & 7.5 m x 3.75 m). Breakfast can be served upon request.

The villa additionally offers accessibility features for people living with disabilities as well as staff to take care of guests. Moreover, as a guest, you can enjoy the beautiful outdoor area with a Mediterranean ambiance on sprawling terraces and stylish outdoor furniture made of rattan and teak!

The Mantilari Estate is a property that is also available for corporate events and private celebrations such as weddings, baptisms or other festivities. The residence and the surrounding outdoor areas can always be customized according to the guests' wishes. Our goal is to give our guests the opportunity to come together and relax or enjoy their meals as one company. But also have the opportunity to enjoy a healthy lifestyle and learn about the rich traditions of the area.

Currently, Villa Mantilari is rented only in its entirety and is suitable for small groups of up to 20 people plus children. Last minute and only on request, one villa can also be booked separately, as it is two individual villas, each with its own pool and entrance. Please ask us about it!

Location:

The central location is ideal to start your exploration of Crete. It also allows you to enjoy the seldom explored nature of Crete, with small gorges and picturesque monasteries and chapels, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves that evoke images of Tuscany and Bordeaux. The close proximity to the North-West National Road allows you to travel with ease to both sea coasts and enjoy the beautiful beaches of the island of Crete.

Heraklion town with all its historical sights and the charismatic old town is a 12 minutes drive from Villa Mantilari, while Hersonissos can be reached in 18 minutes. The Myonian archaeological site of Knossos can be found at a distance of 15 km and the worth seeing city at 65 km.
