"The House by the Sea" - a stylish and relaxed family-friendly beach house near Chania in Crete, in a beautiful location, right in front of Chrissi Akti Beach, just a few steps from the sandy beach.

This summer house has been designed to offer comfort and  privacy for a unique stay. It is the perfect place for guests who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life in a unique holiday ambience.
Most of the spacious rooms offer breathtaking panoramic views over the Mediterranean Sea, the small island of Lazaretta and the town of Chania. The traditional main building is strategically located right in front of the sandy beach and has been carefully renovated to preserve its character.
It offers two flats with a shared courtyard and garden and is only rented together,
The entire villa can only be booked by one family or two families or couples friends to ensure privacy.

Both self-contained flats (1x ground floor, 1x basement) are furnished and decorated in a romantic style. The view of a completely relaxing holiday in Crete close to nature is completed by the beach, the courtyard and the garden. The upper flat contains three bedrooms (1x double bed, 2x single bed, 1x single bed) and a bathroom. For larger groups, there are two more bedrooms (1x double bed, 2x single bed) and a bathroom in the basement. Here there is a second kitchen (without dishwasher) as well as a second living room with separate access from the outside.

Bed linen and towels, TV, DVD player, internet access, washing machines, hair dryer, cosmetics "Apivita" natural health products, welcome package with traditional Cretan drink Raki, our oil production. Exterior barbecue grill with long outdoor dining table with seating for 9 people. Lounge areas with comfortable armchairs, fully equipped modern kitchen. An outdoor dining area with two beautiful tables that can comfortably seat 8-9 people.

The beach house is situated directly in front of the sandy beach of Chrissi Akti, at the edge of the village of Makris Tichos and just under 4 km from the centre of the charismatic harbour town of Chania. Shopping facilities are 200 m away and the nearest restaurant/tavern is 50 m away. Chania offers many possibilities for sightseeing in the beautiful old town and distractions including nightlife. The western part of the island is also ideal for hiking the Samaria Gorge or visiting the most beautiful beaches of Crete such as Balos, Elafonissi or Falasarna.
