Special architectural and design elements were used for the luxury villa Nautilus. - Stone, wood and iron, resistant materials that give the building its special character and innovative design. - Bright rooms thanks to the large balcony doors, which also offer beautiful views of the private outdoor pool, garden and sea. - Numerous stone columns on the terraces and the pool area give the villa a touch of the atmosphere of a Roman manor house, yet perfectly harmonizing with the surroundings. But in the interior the decoration reminds more of Vesace than Caesar.

Kitchen and living room:
On one side of the room there is a comfortable living room with sofas, armchairs and French doors that give access to a terrace. On the other side of the room there is an elegant built-in electric cooker, as well as hobs, a sink and a dishwasher. On this side there are also kitchen cupboards, as well as a large refrigerator and a washing machine. Next to the kitchen there is another balcony door which gives access to a terrace shaded by pergolas next to the 23 m x 9 m L-shaped pool.

Bedroom and bathroom:
From the living room a few steps lead up to an elevated corridor that leads to the bedrooms of the villa. On one side there are two double bedrooms, separated by an elegant marble bathroom with shower, and French doors leading to a shaded and quiet terrace. A garden with high stone walls surrounds the terrace, but gives access to the shaded main terrace, which offers beautiful views of the pool and of course the sea!
At the rear is the master bedroom, which has a queen size bed and spacious wardrobes on both sides. You can enjoy the sea view over the pool through a large window. There is also a large French door overlooking the coast. On the other side of the room there is a large door leading to the luxurious private bathroom with Jacuzzi, toilet and washbasin.

Outdoor area:
The luxurious pool area, which has a 23 meter long L-shaped pool (saltwater) with minimum / maximum depth of the pool 0.60 - 1.80 m and surrounds the building - even the sound of the water gives a feeling of peace and relaxation - offers at the same time a view of the sea and the horizon. At the edge of the plot, a few steps lead to a shaded area with barbecue, table and some benches. A few steps further on is a terrace with panoramic views of the sea and the impressive sunsets.

An extra bed is available for a seventh person.

About the location:

Villa Nautilus is situated on a 2.500 sqm plot of land, in an ideal location with a beautiful view of the sea and impressive sunsets. The villa is located in the village, but at the same time in an absolutely quiet area. In this way, it guarantees absolute privacy to the guests. Taverns are in the village. The nearest beach (sand/pebble) next to the village of Livadia is about 10 minutes walk from the houses and the spectacular coral beach Elafonissi can be reached in about 14 kilometers.
 
The village of Livadia, Innahorion, is located on the west coast, 81 kilometres south-west of Chania and 35 kilometres from the town of Kissamos.
The village is located in the middle of the European E4 long-distance hiking trail (leading along the tarred coastal road to Elafonisi) - a coastal route of exceptional beauty that starts from the village of Kambos and continues through the villages of Keramoti, Livadia, Chrysoskalitissa and Elafonisi. The route represents the typical wild beauty of the rocky landscape of Crete thanks to the breathtaking alternation of olive and robinia trees and rocks of black and red lava formed by the sea.
In the village of Livadia, the food market still takes place in the traditional way - you can buy fish from the fishermen on the small harbour or vegetables, dairy products and meat from the farmers, but there are also three small taverns that even deliver food to the house. There is a mini-market in the village of Chrisoskalitissa, 10 km away, in the village of Kefali and in the village of Sfinaria, and supermarkets in the larger towns of Platanos and Kissamos. In the village of Elos, about 11 kilometres away, there is a petrol station.
Guests can, if they wish, take part in the daily activities of the villagers - charter a boat for a walk or for fishing, take part in the farming activities or in the numerous local festivals, collect grapes and trample them to make wine, learn how to make tsikoudia (Cretan local drink), etc. You will make friends with the friendly villagers, who consider foreign people as their guests and in this way you will get to know the tradition of Cretan hospitality.
A small sand/pebble beach can be found directly at the village.
