The name "masseria" comes from Italian and refers to a large agricultural building. We find this type of farmhouse mainly in the south, in Sicily and Pulia, where many buildings have been renovated to make charming "agriturismo" - the dream took shape there and was realised in Falasarna in Crete!
Villa Masseria Falasarna offers you an ideal setting for a dream holiday in an exceptional location with a breathtaking view of the bay of Falasarna. All services and comforts have been considered to satisfy the most demanding needs. The villa has been designed in a soft and soothing style, both in terms of colours, grey pastel tones, and materials, polished concrete, cement tiles and metalwork. These materials give your stay a real feeling of great relaxation.
Masseria Falasarna is a villa with four independent bedrooms with sea view, which can accommodate up to 8 adults and 3 additional children in cots. The entire villa is air-conditioned.
On the ground floor, the villa offers a living area of 60 square metres: a kitchen open to the dining room with high quality equipment, oven 80 cm, induction hobs, American fridge with filtered water and ice cubes, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and a living room with U-shaped sofas to enjoy the view.
Ground floor: a bedroom of 20 sqm that can accommodate a couple and a child, equipped with independent shower and toilet.
Upper floor: three bedrooms of 20 sqm each, sea view, each equipped with independent shower and WC. Living room with a large flat screen TV.
Two bedrooms for an extra "child" and two with the possibility to accommodate two separate beds.
Beds: 4x double bed 1.60 m x 2.00 m "sleep on nature", COCOMAT.
The spacious outdoor area offers a terrace of more than 200 sqm, a heated infinity pool of 10 m x 5 m (1.20 m - 1.60 m deep), a summer kitchen with barbecue and wood-burning oven, tables and chairs, like in a "Greek taverna", under a shady pergola. Moreover, the villa is built on a plot of more than 5000 sqm, including fifty old olive trees and more than a hundred in "nursery"! This will satisfy the curiosity of any "budding farmer"!
Finally, there is a roof terrace of 100 sqm which offers a 360 ° view of the surrounding nature during the day and an open "planetarium" at night!

Masseria Falasarna is synonymous with agrotourism, as it is surrounded by olive groves as far as the eye can see and is 1.5 km from the tarmac road. Access to the villa is via an agricultural road, which is best travelled in an off-road vehicle or 4x4.
Masseria Falasarna is located in the west of the island of Crete, 50 km from the city of Chania, its airport (68 km) and the port of Souda (54 km). The nearest village Platanos with taverna and supermarket is about 4 km away and the nearest beach Kokkina Gkremna just under 5 km. The wide and popular sandy beach of Falasarna with water sports facilities is only 7 km away. The remarkable places of Crete, such as Balos (20 km away) and Elafonissi (40 km away), are quickly accessible via small mountain roads along the sea. The climate resilience tax of up to 10 euros per day applicable in Greece may have to be paid locally on arrival
Terms of payment
A deposit of 10% of the total rental cost is due immediately to confirm the booking. Payment of the further 30% of the rental cost is due 60 days prior to arrival, a further 30% is due 30 days prior to arrival and the balance is due on arrival.
Cancellation policy
If a guest cancels up to 60 days prior to arrival, no cancellation fees are due. If a booking is cancelled less than 60 days prior to arrival, the deposit amounts will each be charged as a cancellation fee.

Ein weiterer Urlaub auf Kreta ist mindestens in der Diskussion :-)
Wir waren an Pfingsten 2023 (das erste Mal) auf Kreta und in der Villa Masseria Falasarna. Wir waren 5 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder und hatten tolle Ferien. Die ganze Abwicklung und Buchung vor der Reise war sehr unkompliziert und sympathisch. Bei der Anreise haben wir uns in einer griechischen Taverne in der Nähe der Villa getroffen und sind dann gemeinsam dorthin gefahren. (wäre sonst allein nicht ganz einfach zu finden). Die letzten 800m zum Haus führt ein Schotterweg. Der ist aber auch mit einem normalen PKW machbar. Der Checkin war schnell, sehr freundlich und vor allem unkompliziert. Im Haus war alles vorhanden an Ausstattung was wir gebraucht haben (und noch ein paar Dinge mehr). Es ist alles sehr neuwertig und gepflegt. Bei Bedarf haben wir immer sofort jemand erreicht. Toller Service, sei noch erwähnt: bei Bedarf kommt jemand vorbei zum Putzen und für einen Wäschewechsel. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig, man hat einen fantastischen Blick auf’s Meer und fährt ca. 10 Minuten in den nächsten Ort (mit Supermarkt, Apotheke und Tavernen) und ca. 15 Minuten an den Strand. Falasarna und der Westen und Süden von Kreta, soweit wir es gesehen haben, hat uns sehr gefallen. Trotz Pfingstferien war relativ wenig los und es ist eher „viel Landschaft“, kleine Dörfer und spektakuläre Küstenstraßen. Nicht so sehr touristisch erschlossen und wenig zugebaut. Hat uns gut gefallen. Wir hatten sehr relaxte 11 Tage, haben nur nette und gastfreundliche Leute kennengelernt und das kretische Essen sehr genossen. Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeber. Ein weiterer Urlaub auf Kreta ist mindestens in der Diskussion :-)
