For those looking to rent an upmarket villa on Kefalonia, Assos View Villas offer the rare combination of being located within walking distance of the picturesque village of Assos, yet having the seclusion and tranquillity of a retreat. A five-minute walk through a winding path full of leafy, shady trees leads you to the village, while the private, secluded beaches nearby are no more than 100 metres away. A quiet lane leads down to the centre of the village in a few minutes, with its "plateia" (the village square) shaded by ancient plane trees and waterfront tavernas.

Only 16 km away is the harbour town of Fiskardo, which is also well worth seeing and invites you to take a boat trip or simply to a café with a view of the many arriving and departing boats and yachts.

The white and popular sandy beach of Mirtos is 12 km away.
