Villa Opal is located in a privileged position that allows a magnificent view of the harbor and the vastness of the Aegean Sea, not far from the vibrant heart of Mykonos town. This stylish residence was originally built in the 70's by a famous architect and renovated to modern standards. The aim was to create a successful blend of old and new without losing the original character of the house.

Inspired by popular architecture, the entire structure is made up of precisely arranged cubes, painted strictly white to contrast beautifully with the colors of the sea and the sky. The interior is organized around a stone-paved courtyard that seems to have been carved into the rock that surrounds it. This hidden oasis, adorned with colorful flowers, has a comfortable dining and lounge area shaded by a pergola, complete with built-in sofa, plus a small pool for outdoor refreshment. At the front of the courtyard, a terrace offers unobstructed views of the Mykonian seascape and the famous windmills.

A wooden door leads from the courtyard to a living room with an adjacent dining area, which is also accessed through the main entrance. Modern elements blend seamlessly into the décor, adding a contemporary twist to the sculptural forms of the 70s. One of the highlights of the villa is the large window in the main living area, which offers fabulous views of the Aegean Sea and Mykonos Town. The kitchen is state of the art and fully equipped to suit cooking enthusiasts. An interesting mezzanine, used as a lounge area, leads to the courtyard. The bedrooms are designed along with the same concept, with pure white finishes and bedding creating an ultimately calm and relaxing atmosphere. The windows with traditional wooden frames offer a calming view of the harbor and, when opened, let in the cool night breeze.

Villa Opal is located just in front of the old port of Mykonos Town and therefore very close to the vibrant life of the town. Many cafes, taverns, restaurants and bars line the old harbor and also "Little Venetian" and the famous windmills are part of this flair and charming sight. The beautiful sandy beach Ftelia in the north of the island is 6 km away as well as the famous Super Paradise Beach in the south only 4,8 km. Discover the island!
