The part of the beach in front of the villa is pebble and only 70 m away from it. The organised sandy beach is about a kilometre further and is one of the most beautiful in all of Rhodes. The six kilometre long sand and pebble beach on the south-eastern corner of the island has beach bars and fish restaurants and carries the coveted Blue Flag. Locals from all over Rhodes visit the beach on Sunday evenings for the "Sundance" beach party - so a visit here should not be missed! Gennadi is ideally located near Lindos, the "jewel in the crown of Rhodes" with its ancient acropolis and beautiful whitewashed buildings. Several water sports centres on the coast offer all kinds of water sports and can be reached quickly by car. You can start directly from the villa. In about 20 minutes by car you have reached the peninsula Prassonissi at the southern tip of the island, one of the world's best wind and kite surfing paradises.
