The residence is located in the eastern part of the island, in Pefki, in the municipality of Lindos, at an altitude of 12 meters above sea level. The western end of the plot is directly on the sea, while the slopes, which are an integral part of the natural relief, mark the boundaries of the plot. The peculiarities of the landscape, the narrow rectangular shape of the plot (800 square meters) and the view dictate the linear layout. Special attention was paid to the integration of the building into the natural environment, so that the architectural design of the building and the landscape were created at the same time and considered to be of equal value.

The backyard - an area protected from the wind and sun - extends into the kitchen with the dining and living room including a sofa bed. On the ground floor you will also find three bedrooms, one of which is equipped with a 35 sqm bedroom with double bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m) and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two single beds and the third has a single bed. A bathroom with shower is also available on this floor for these two bedrooms to use. The master bedroom has a semi-circular bathroom with a stone dome whose light is filtered through small coloured openings. The upper floor offers two bedrooms, each with a double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m) and en-suite bathroom, one of which is 45 sqm and the other 55 sqm, where a large sofa bed for up to 2 guests is available and the 45 sqm bedroom can accommodate an extra bed. A second extra bed or sofa bed may be provided in one of the bedrooms and also in the living room. On request up to 3 cribs can be provided. A large furnished balcony with a fantastic view invites you to stay. The upper and lower floors are connected by an outside staircase.

Today there is a suite with a 6th bedroom (double bed), a sofa and a private bathroom on the ground floor, with terrace and magnificent sea view.

The villa has a natural cross ventilation and lighting, all day long. Small skylights decorate the areas connecting the rooms. The rough surface of the building, which merges with the natural terrain and is clearly influenced by the old farmhouses of the area, is made of local stone (atsakopetra) and coated surfaces of lava and lime. The interior surfaces were coated and painted with aged milk of lime. The floors were coated with local slate, while the walls of the bathrooms were covered with aged white marble in the form of a mosaic stone. The outer courtyard has been skilfully covered with pebbles.

A beautiful Mediterranean garden, consisting of olive trees and green lawns, offers breathtaking, unobstructed views of the sea and the rocky hills with dense pine trees. In addition to all these amenities, there is a magnificent terrace, ideal for endless sunbathing and romantic sunsets.

About the location:

Villa Aquavisionaire is located just outside the village of Pefkos (1000 meters to the center of the village) and only about 50 meters from the nearest sandy beach. Directly below the house there is a sea access for the guests. The next tavern is only 100 meters away and the next supermarket is 500 meters away. The worth seeing place Lindos with its landmark, the Acropolis situated on the rock, is 6 kilometres away. Also the temple of Athena Lindia is to be seen here. The capital Rhodes is 52 kilometres away.
