Old Beach House - the traditional stone building was built in 1910 and served for many decades as a trading house for olives, olive oil and salt which were transported between Crete and the mainland.
In 2016 the house was converted into a modern and comfortable accommodation, taking into account its history. The 64 square meter house is located only 30 meters from the sea and beach. It has succeeded in combining the elegance of the past with the comfort of modern times.

The luxurious beach house has one bedroom with double bed, two bathrooms and two fully equipped kitchens (inside and outside).
In harmony with nature is the 4.50 x 10 meter natural pool, which is heatable. Water lilies and bamboo form this special character. The roof invites you to watch the stars. After sunset you can watch the uniqueness of the starry sky on comfortable cushions.

Breakfast is included.
Yoga on the beach is offered in the summer months June/July/August.

About the location:

The villa is located about 2 kilometers outside the village of Livadia, where you can find some taverns. The nearest minimarket is in the village of Chrisoskalitissa, 10 kilometres away. The spectacular sandy beach of Elafonissi is only about 14 kilometres away.
The house has a unique location at only 30 meters distance to a pebble beach.
 
The village of Livadia, Innahorion, located on the west coast, is 81 kilometres south-west of Chania and 35 kilometres from the small town of Kissamos.   
The village is located in the middle of the European E4 long-distance hiking trail (leading along the tarred coastal road to Elafonisi) - a coastal route of exceptional beauty that starts from the village of Kambos and continues through the villages of Keramoti, Livadia, Chrysoskalitissa and Elafonisi. The route represents the typical wild beauty of the rocky landscape of Crete thanks to the breathtaking alternation of olive and robinia trees and rocks of black and red lava formed by the sea.
In the village of Livadia, the food market still takes place in the traditional way - you can buy fish from the fishermen on the small harbour or vegetables, dairy products and meat from the farmers, but there are also three small taverns that even deliver food to the house. There is a mini-market in the village of Chrisoskalitissa, 10 km away, in the village of Kefali and in the village of Sfinaria, and supermarkets in the larger towns of Platanos and Kissamos. In the village of Elos, about 11 kilometres away, there is a petrol station.
Guests can, if they wish, take part in the daily activities of the villagers - charter a boat for a walk or for fishing, take part in the farming activities or in the numerous local festivals, collect grapes and trample them to make wine, learn how to make tsikoudia (Cretan local drink), etc. You will make friends with the friendly villagers, who consider foreign people as their guests and in this way you will get to know the tradition of Cretan hospitality.
A small sand/pebble beach can be found directly at the village.
